Twenty-six years ago (1997), BA Group moved to the Yonge + St. Clair neighbourhood. BA Group had recently celebrated 20 years of existence at that time, operating out of a small office on Avenue Road near Yorkville. This small business was founded in 1974 by BA’s founder Ed Levy with a handful of youthful employees and soon evolved into a specialist transportation consulting firm with approximately 30 employees. A move was necessary to accommodate a growing company and client base. So the firm packed up and moved to the Yonge + St. Clair neighbourhood at 45 St. Clair West.
Since then, BA Group has continued growing in size and reach. The recent COVID pandemic has significantly changed how we work together. These changes and our growth as a firm have taught us the importance of face-to-face collaboration and learning in our day-to-day work. Through this realization, we have recognized the need for a new space for our GTA-based employees to move BA Group into the future while also striking the right balance of hybrid work to provide flexibility and accommodate our employees’ needs.
BA Group is thrilled to announce that, after 25 years at 45 St. Clair Avenue West, we are moving our primary Toronto office to 95 St. Clair Avenue West (Suite 1000). This change will be effective September 5th 2023.
For those who have been to our ‘old’ office, the new location is still part of the Yonge + St. Clair neighbourhood. Our new office will remain conveniently accessible from the St. Clair Subway Station on Line 1 and from the Deer Park Station on the 512 St. Clair Streetcar.
Our new space will bring our entire office onto a single floor and will be designed to foster the deep thinking and insightful transportation work we are known for. For our employees, it will have an emphasis on promoting wellness and will have dedicated spaces for collaboration, learning and information sharing. We are excited to move into this new space and experience the benefits as a firm. We are confident that the new space will continue to inspire and innovate our work – what we do and how we work – within the company, with our clients, and across the industry.
