Yorkdale Shopping Centre
Toronto, Ontario

For over a decade, BA Group has provided this 1.6 million sq.-ft. centre with traffic and parking studies, signage, parking layout, functional access design, and the design of a multi-level, 440-stall parking structure. The International Council of Shopping Centres called Yorkdale’s expansion “memorable, compelling, and … pedestrian-friendly.”

Home Depot Stores
Toronto, Ontario

Home Depot stores typically involve a 110,000 sq. ft. home improvement centre with an adjoining 25,000 sq. ft. garden centre. Sites like these require 550 to 1,000 parking spaces. BA Group provides on-going transportation planning, traffic engineering, and roadway engineering.

Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre
Vaughan, Ontario

Vaughan Mills is one of the newest and largest shopping malls in Canada. Since 1996, BA Group has assisted in the planning of the centre, starting with site selection advice. Until the centre opened in 2004, BA Group provided parking and site planning services, produced a comprehensive transit plan for the site and successfully provided expert testimony on behalf of the centre at the OMB. BA Group continues to work on the centre, including the surrounding area, which is being developed as a “big box” retail destination.
