The city of Amman, Jordan’s capital, wants to evolve as a world-class destination for business and tourism. BA Group is part of a North American-based team preparing an urban master plan to create a sustainable infrastructure while respecting the city’s history. Our work involves a fully-integrated city-wide transportation network, concentrating on road network, traffic control, transit planning, pedestrian systems, and alignment and configuration plans.
BA Group provided advice for the design development and operational planning of a 1,800- stall underground parking component of a 400,000 sq. m. mixed-use project which would contain approximately 900 condominium units, a Four Seasons Regency Hotel, office and retail space, and a 2,500-seat multi-screen cinema.
BA Group assisted in the operational planning and management of three new parking facilities totaling approximately 3,500 stalls to be constructed as part of a major expansion of a mixed-use centre in downtown Dubai. The new uses include apartment towers, an office building, cinemas, and a major expansion of the existing shopping centre. Part of the parking plan involved implementing fees for parking, a concept new to the city.
