York University

BA Group continues to draw upon an 18-year urban transportation advisory relationship with York University encompassing the Master Planning of the main Keele campus, the Glendon Campus, and the new Markham Campus. Our design and planning advice extends to several of York’s ongoing development projects.

Our advice ensures effective integration with the future subway expansion soon to open at York University while maintaining a Pedestrian First approach. We also provide advice on the configuration of municipal streets, the functional design of parking facilities, the integration of transit, the deployment of pick-up and drop-off locations, and the incorporation of bicycle facilities across the campus in support of both the ongoing University and public-private developments.

University of Toronto Scarborough Campus

BA Group provided transportation advisory services to UTSC to develop a new campus Master Plan, which looked at the most appropriate redesign of the campus roadways to maximize placemaking and efficiency of movement. Special consideration was made to optimize existing developments on-campus while minimizing the extent of new paved areas. BA continues to work on behalf of the University providing transportation advisory services for projects such as the student residence, parking structure, IC2, Indigenous House, and the Graduate Studies building within the North Campus.

University of Toronto

BA Group has provided transportation advisory services for the U of T St. George Campus on dozens of noteworthy projects over the past 20 years. Some of these projects include Centre for Civilizations, Cultures and Cities’ 11-storey University building, John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design expansion, Donelly Centre for Cellular Biomolecular Research, Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport, Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus, Robarts Library Expansion, Varsity Stadium and many student residences.

Sheridan College

BA Group has provided transportation advisory services in support of various projects since 2000. We are currently retained by Sheridan College to undertake a transportation study in support of a Master Plan process for three different campuses at Trafalgar Campus in Oakville, Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga, and Davis Campus in Brampton. Our role was to present an overview of the opportunities and challenges surrounding each campus and analyze the current inter-campus connectivity. This work involved an analysis of the existing transit, vehicular traffic and parking, cycling, and servicing conditions of each campus.

University of Toronto Mississauga

BA Group is currently assisting the new University of Toronto Mississauga Campus with the approvals process supporting a new Student Residence and the Arts, Culture and Technology building. We also assisted UTM with loading design configuations for the reconstruction of the North Building, a 210,000 ft² academic, administrative and student community space.
