Kristie Ellis MCIP, RPP
Transportation Planner

Kristie worked at BA Group from 2012 to 2017, following the completion of her Master of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen's University. In 2021, Kristie returned to BA Group after gaining three years of public sector experience with Canada's Federal Government.

Kristie is a member of both the Ontario Professional Planning Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners, and a Registered Professional Planner (RPP).

Since joining BA Group, Kristie has been involved in a wide range of commercial, residential, and institutional projects (including public and private sector clients), focusing on parking management/feasibility studies, long-term strategic parking studies, and sustainable urban transportation planning.  Her representative experience includes municipal parking strategies (Kingston, London, Saskatoon, Newmarket, and York Region) and long-term parking feasibility assessments for health care and educational facilities across Ontario. She has also been involved in a wide range of commercial and residential projects across the Greater Toronto Area, ranging from in-fill sites to multi-phased, mixed-use developments.

Kristie has previously presented at the ACT Canada Conference on Transportation Demand Management Best Practices and at the Canadian Parking Association on Rethinking Bicycle Parking.
