Deanna Green P. Eng.
Senior Transportation Engineer

Deanna joined BA Group in 2020 following a twenty-four year career as a transportation and traffic engineer in municipal government. Deanna completed both a Civil Engineering degree and a Master of Science degree in Engineering (Transportation) at the University of New Brunswick.

Deanna’s interests in the transportation field include road safety, traffic operations, intelligent transportation systems and transportation planning.  

While working in municipal government, Deanna managed traffic operations and transportation planning, including the management of the traffic signal system, the review of development applications and traffic impact studies, pedestrian facility planning, neighbourhood traffic calming, road safety, transportation master plans, and strategic transportation plans.  Deanna also served on the technical committee for the development of the 2016 Ontario Traffic Manual (Book 15) Pedestrian Crossing Treatments. She particularly enjoyed teaching transportation for four years as part of the Civil Engineering Technology program at St.Lawrence College in Kingston.

Deanna is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and has served on the Traffic Engineering Committee of the Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) since 2007.  In 2018 Deanna was awarded an honourary membership to the Ontario Traffic Council in recognition and appreciation of her outstanding contribution.
