Jane Borkovic M.Eng

Jane joined BA Group in the fall of 2014 after completing her Masters of Engineering (Civil) at the University of Toronto. During her master’s program she was an executive member of the University of Toronto Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and continues to be a member of ITE and CSCE today. At the 2015 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting Jane gave a podium presentation on a research project assessing the financial impacts of climate change on northern Canadian mining due to the degradation of winter roads.

Before moving to Toronto, Jane worked for two years in structural engineering at a multidisciplinary firm in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. There she prepared structural designs, drawings, and construction documents for a variety of projects ranging from office buildings to mining infrastructure – often in isolated cold climate regions.

Since joining BA Group, Jane has been involved in a number projects involving both transportation analysis and site plan reviews for residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use developments in the Greater Toronto Area.

Jane is a Member in Training with the NWT & Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists, and is working towards her Professional Engineering designation in Ontario.
