Kyrylo Rewa M.A.Sc., MCIP, RPP
Transportation Planner

Kyrylo completed his undergraduate studies in Urban Planning in 2004 and continued his education at the University of Waterloo, graduating with a Masters of Applied Sciences in Transportation Engineering in 2012. He has actively worked with the Regional Municipalities of Waterloo and Peel as a Researcher at the University of Waterloo on several joint GPS cycling projects.

His interests in the transportation field include sustainable transportation, urban and land-use planning, transportation demand forecasting, and land development. Kyrylo has presented his work at events such as the 2012 Velo-City international cycling conference in Vancouver and the Transportation Research Board in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers and a full member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.

While at the University of Waterloo, Kyrylo was awarded the Canadian Transportation Research Forum’s Canadian Pacific Railway Scholarship, 2011 for his outstanding research.

Kyrylo has also participated in Canadian and international transportation projects, including work at Transport for London – Strategy and Policy in London, England, and Infrastructure Management Consultants GmbH in Zurich, Switzerland.
