Amy Jiang M.Eng., P.Eng.
Senior Associate

Amy is a licensed professional engineer with 15 years of experience in the transportation industry. She has experience managing a diverse range of large and small-scale transportation projects for the public and private sectors. At BA Group, Amy is focused on providing planning and engineering advisory services related to site planning, traffic analysis, and transportation modelling. Amy joined BA Group in 2011 following a five-year tenure in transportation engineering consulting working in Canada, Ireland, and Australia.  Her previous experience focused on the design and implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for the freeway, arterial, and transit systems in Canada and worldwide.

Amy has served as an expert witness before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and a federal joint review panel convened by the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) and Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), and has participated in LPAT mediations, Committee of Adjustment hearings, and a variety of public meetings. From 2014-2016, Amy developed and taught a course on Advanced Transportation Impact Studies offered by the Ontario Traffic Council. She is currently serving as the Past President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Toronto Section and serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE). Under her presidency in 2019, the ITE Toronto Section was awarded the CITE Section Momentum Award.
