We are excited to congratulate Stuart Anderson, P.Eng., on his promotion to Principal at BA Group.
Stuart is an industry veteran, with 30 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering. He joined BA Group in 2014 with significant prior experience in Toronto and five years of experience in New Zealand, where he began his career.
Stuart has established himself as one of the industry’s go-to experts for transportation consulting related to Development Charges. He has also provided expert evidence on multiple occasions at the Ontario Land Tribunal and its predecessors. Within BA Group, Stuart has taken on a leadership role in our municipal parking practice.
Stuart’s work includes parking strategy studies, traffic engineering, and road safety reviews, with extensive experience analyzing and planning for transportation impacts of new developments, from initial concept planning and site selection to detailed capacity analysis.
Stuart’s commitment to the transportation engineering industry is evident through his involvement with the Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) and Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE Canada). He has previously served terms with the OTC’s Parking Committee and Traffic Engineering Committee. He has also developed and presented workshops on the preparation of Transportation Impact Studies and Advanced Transportation Impact Studies. With ITE, Stuart served as part of the ITE Project Committee to develop the “Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety in Parking Facilities” Informational Report in 2014-2017.
