BA Group is currently assisting with a Zoning By-law Amendment Application to permit the construction of a two-storey high-rise development consisting of residential, office, retail uses, and a new daycare facility. Unique to The Dawes is its heritage, 3-storey, 1906-built grain elevator and mill at 10 Dawes Road, a renovation of which will incorporate it into the overall development and turn it into a brand new daycare facility just steps from the front doors.  While having Main Street subway station only a block away from The Dawes puts the whole city within easy reach, it will be even closer to a new east entrance to Danforth GO station, putting the downtown core just a short train ride away.
