YONGE STATION, SHEPPARD SUBWAY, TORONTO

The new Sheppard Line subway station at Yonge St. was complex to plan and construct because it is located above the existing Sheppard Station on the Yonge Line, and beneath the busy intersection of Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. BA Group was retained by NORR Partnership to meet the needs of reviewing agencies, property owners, and ratepayers, while minimizing negative impact to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

ART GALLERY OF ONTARIO (TRANSFORMATION AGO)

BA Group worked with the AGO to realize “Transformation AGO,” which includes an architectural expansion designed by Frank Gehry. We have prepared comprehensive parking and loading demand studies in support of the expansion, including plans for the use of off-site parking and the resolution of traffic management issues during construction logistics.

TWIN TUNNELS, TORONTO

This cut-and-cover construction site for the launch sites, systems installation shafts, and rail drop sites of the Sheppard Subway risked disrupting local traffic and property integrity. BA Group prepared a traffic management plan for the immediate area to mitigate property impacts and provide sufficient construction mobilisation sites.
