BA Group was retained by the Saint John Parking Commission to strategically assess the parking implications of up to 26 development projects over the next five to ten years. This study included capital cost projections and required extensive public consultation.
This study for a new 900-acre development included, among other services, the assessment of long-term supply needs, zoning bylaws encouraging transit use and carpooling, and alternative financing mechanisms, all with the goal of producing superior urban design that serves economic development.
The City of Niagara Falls had prepared a Community Improvement Plan and a Strategic Implementation Plan to create a framework and implementation plan to revitalize the area. With input from stakeholders, municipal departments, and local residents and businesses, BA Group developed a Parking Action Plan to address the future development goals of the City in the downtown business area.
