Robert is a senior transportation planning and engineering consultant, who has been with BA Group since 1975, and has served as its Chief Executive since 1991. To every project, Robert applies thirty years’ experience as a project director, providing creative and practical solutions to complex urban transportation challenges.
Robert’s services include: regional and community planning; physical and financial planning for infrastructure projects; road and transitway functional planning; and planning for urban development, site access, circulation, parking, and loading.
Robert is currently the Senior Transportation Consultant on the Amman Master Plan team. The Greater Amman Municipality of Jordan was awarded the 2007 World Leadership Award for Town Planning in recognition of the Master Plan.
Robert had the privilege to serve as transportation consultant for Toronto’s 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games bid. Robert was also a lead consultant for the 2005 Feasibility Study prepared for the City of Toronto exploring the implications and opportunities for Toronto hosting the 2015 World Exposition. He has advised extensively for many years on Toronto’s waterfront, working closely with the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation, the Waterfront Regeneration Trust, the Royal Commission on the Future of the Toronto Waterfront, and the City of Toronto.
Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, a Registered Professional Planner, the Immediate Past Chair of the Greater Toronto Transportation Conference, and the Vice President and Chair of the Membership Committee of Simcoe (Toronto) Chapter of Lambda Alpha International (an Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics).
