Transportation Designer
Tristan joined BA Group with urban transportation experience in both the public and private sector while pursuing his degree from Queen’s University.
His work in BA Group’s transportation design department involves collaboration with architects and developers to ensure adherence to appropriate standards and functional design criteria, with respect to site planning, loading and parking, to maximize transportation efficiency.
Tristan recently contributed to BA Group’s work on the expansion of the Martin Goodman Trail, which involved designing a bike trail through the existing Ontario Place property. Working with WATERFRONToronto, Tristan assisted in developing a functional site configuration which introduced the new bike path and includes a new traffic signal on Lakeshore Boulevard.
Tristan is a strong advocate of sustainable urban development and, since joining BA Group, has attended conferences with the Canadian Urban Institute, Walk 21, and ITE. He is a member of ITE and is actively pursuing his professional designation.
