Transportation Planner

Tom joined BA Group in 2008 after completing his Masters of Science in Engineering at Queen’s University, with research focused on the assessment and improvement of instructional aspects of integrating design projects into engineer training.  Tom honed his management skills through both voluntary and paid student management positions during his time at Queen’s.

Since joining the firm, Tom has completed a number of transportation planning assignments relating to land development projects, including Holy Blossom Temple and Woodbine Live!.  He is currently overseeing the implementation of a new transportation data management system at BA Group.

Tom is keenly interested in sustainable transportation planning and is part of a team at BA Group assisting with the LEED Neighbourhood Development Guidelines. He is pursuing his Professional Engineer designation and is a member of ITE.
