Ryan Sankar, B.A.Sc.

Transportation Analyst

Ryan joined BA Group in 2011 following two years of experience in Ontario’s public sector, as well as a combined two years of co-op experience in both private and public sectors.  Ryan brings substantial traffic and transportation experience to the firm, including a proficiency in the Synchro Studio, CCG Calc, and HCS 2000 traffic operations analysis software.  His skill set also includes VBA macro development as well as professional writing, which in 2007 won him the Sanford Fleming Foundation award for best Civil Engineering work term report at the University of Waterloo.

Ryan’s analytical and technical skills have been in high demand since he joined the firm, exposing him to the variety and complexity of the firm’s project portfolio.  He has provided a wide range of services relating to traffic operations analysis and site access design review for several projects, which include the Bayside development on the Toronto Waterfront, a SmartCentres development in Alliston, Ontario, and the Globe and Mail building relocation in downtown Toronto.

Ryan is working towards his Professional Engineer designation and is a member of BA Group’s CANstruction team.
