Our Work

TORONTO BIKE STUDY
Toronto, Ontario

This study was meant to identify cyclist needs versus current infrastructure, future improvements to infrastructure, and methods to encourage more bicycle use. BA Group identified “high priority” bicycling corridors, discussed alternative bike routes, and provided detailed functional designs for Harbord, St. George, and Wellesley Streets.

HUMBER BRIDGE
Toronto, Ontario

With the goal of improving the waterfront precinct between Humber River and Roncesvalles, BA Group worked with John van Nostrand and others to address transportation issues such as alignment of Lake Shore Boulevard, the location and provision of parking, the crossing of the Humber River by cyclists and pedestrians, and the need for a boardwalk along the shoreline.

SIMCOE PLACE
Toronto, Ontario

BA Group planned and designed a state-of-the-art bicycle parking facility with shower and change facilities at the first level of an underground parking garage. An innovative bike access ramp system was developed to allow cyclists to negotiate the grade change.
