Clean Air Commute

For the third year in a row, BA Group participated in Pollution Probe’s Clean Air Commute, held June 18-22, a week of friendly competition among GTA workplaces with the goal of reducing the pollutants in our air and our lungs.  The campaign brings together governments, businesses and working citizens in a unique partnership that promotes cleaner air and healthier communities.  By finding alternative forms of transportation to work, we are reducing the stress on our roads and our environment.

The goal of the Commute is consistent with BA Group’s efforts to develop safe and efficient transportation systems which reduce auto dependency, promote transit use and encourage the use of non-polluting modes like walking and cycling.  We also support the objective of increasing awareness of sustainability issues in our community and profession.

The Commute is not a fundraising event.  It is an “involvement” event that effects every one of us in our city. 

This year, BA Group won a participation award for the highest percentage of participating employees within our size category!
